Inspect and support the containers
- Verify container identity, dimensions and structural condition

- Do not cut, weld or drill structural elements without approved details
- Record ownership and responsibility for container repairs and later movement
Connection and anchoring questions
The canopy must connect to the containers exactly as designed, and the containers must remain stable under the combined assembly loads. Ask how vertical, lateral and uplift forces pass from the canopy through the connections, containers and foundations.
A heavy container can still slide, overturn, rack or move on poor support. Do not substitute container dead weight for a verified foundation/anchoring design.

Access, doors and operations
Confirm the clear vehicle envelope through the canopy, including height at the sides and any door hardware. Plan truck or loader turns, pedestrian routes, lighting and material storage so equipment cannot strike the cover, trusses or containers.
If an end wall or large door is added, confirm how it is supported and whether it changes wind loading or required bracing. Do not remove frame members to create a larger opening.
